Trying to prepare.. Incognito (Org Tower – Day time – OPEN)
Pacing through the quieter halls of the Org Tower, Eve and her shadow tried to shrink into the décor, attempting to stay under the radar and avoid being seen... or sensed. She’d visited rooms that were exclusively unpopular to that purpose, but ventured not once, but twice into an exceedingly bright room more prone to unexpected visitors. This room, she’d assumed, was full of ‘helpful’ things, but gave a hefty sigh as she realised, it was someone else’s space. After all, despite that this was an important purpose, a task that wasn’t taken lightly by a serious young girl, she didn’t need to be caught stealing from someone’s room. Big, BIG trouble.
“Hmmmm.”
It hadn’t been long since she’d slipped from the group of children playing outside, but the thought finally crossed her mind; it probably wouldn’t be long before she was noticed missing. Close to getting all she needed, Eve shrugged and moved on, toting the shoe sized box under an arm.
“Next tiiiiime.” Eve blurted out to herself.
She’d managed to find three of the six things on her list, but with little time to spare, she’d have to try again.
However…
Returning to her group undiscovered was not as easy as she anticipated.

"You, stop." It was said gently, but with absolutely no room for argument.

She hadn't heard or seen or even known about this grown up; yet somehow to sense this person, felt eerily familiar.

That meant Coming into the entryway proper and pacing around the child.

Or maybe not.... Somehow, she couldn't help but focus on the lady; On blonde hair and blue eyes, even on the vivid bubble of life surrounding her.
Without realising it, she'd become transfixed on the mystery now pacing before her.

"Are you suppose to be out here alone?"

Instead the stranger recieved a shake of the head, a small albeit friendly smile as well as one treasure. Reaching into the box, the fluffiest of small teddy bears was brought to the fore, and Eve held it out as a present of goodwill. Or maybe a bribe for silence. Either worked.

A dozen questions lying behind bright blue eyes.
"hn?" she offered, a throat noise more than voice, but still something. And the fluffy toy WAS still on the table.

Granted, the familiar feel, the resonance? That was a little worrisome, and it brought up all the paranoia Nevada had ingrained in her but...the kid lived at the Org tower and looked remarkably un-experimented on. Hell, she didn't even feel bruised, much less tortured for biological secrets.
Sometimes her adopted father had been a paranoid bugger.
"Scoot."

So unfortunately for Eve, the choice wasn't so easy. All she could do was stand there, forlorn blue eyes locked onto the strangers as she tried to come up with a solution as well as not get herself into more trouble.

Aya...stared at the girl for a few moments then sighed. "Obviously you're intent on getting yourself in trouble. Seems a stupid thing to me but if that's what you want go on and head somewhere else. Don't say I didn't try to redirect you though."

Still, she'd have a word with the people here about the girl feeling like herself.
